Hire a Marine

My Bio

I’m a Marine Corps Veteran, and everything I learned in the Corps — from training to deployments, including the Persian Gulf War — shaped my work ethic, discipline, and commitment to serving others. I have an MBA in finance, an accounting degree, and a Rice University nonprofit leadership certification. In the community, I helped launch Keep Kemah Beautiful and have volunteered for Pancakes with Santa, the Fourth of July Parade, and the Kemah Easter Egg Hunt. I also attend City Council meetings.

My Key Issues

Government Transparency

The City of Kemah has a lack of transparency. Be proactive and without being asked, disclose City Business to the public. Start an annual "State of the City" Event to give an account of the present & future health of the City of Kemah.

Neighborhood infrastructure improvements

Balance General funds spending on economic improvement with spending on infrastructure, roads and drainage.

Fiscal Responsibility

Achieve recognition in the Texas Comptroller Transparency Stars program to recognize cities that make important strides towards greater government transparency. Once a Traditional Finance star is earned, local entities can go on to apply in other areas for up to five stars: Traditional Finances Contracts and Procurement Economic Development Public Pensions Debt Obligations
